Echelon® Central Operating Group

The Springfield Armory® Central Operating Group® is the serialized foundation of the Echelon platform. Available as a standalone component, the COG gives you the freedom to build an Echelon around the configuration you want using compatible OEM and aftermarket components. Select your grip module, slide assembly, barrel, sights, magazines and accessories to create a complete pistol built around the proven operating core of the Echelon.

PRECISION AT ITS CORE

Manufactured using advanced processes and precision machining, the Central Operating Group® delivers exceptional durability and tight tolerances. Its robust stainless steel construction ensures consistent performance and long-term reliability.

Flat-Faced Trigger

A flat-faced trigger with integrated safety promotes consistent finger placement and a controlled pull.
Takedown Lever

The Central Operating Group® includes a takedown lever to lock the unit into compatible frames.
Secondary Sear

A secondary sear is independent of the release latch, serving as an additional safety during transport or if dropped.

REFINED FEEL

Critical components of the trigger are machined from durable tool steel. Precision-polished and coated surfaces reduce friction, delivering smooth takeup and predictable break.

Build your gun around the configuration you want. Choose from the compact 4.0C, full-size grip 4.0FC or full-size 4.5F, each built around the same serialized Central Operating Group® with access to a growing selection of OEM and aftermarket components.
