(12/20/22) – With hundreds of thousands of members and millions of visitors, The Armory Life™ is the preeminent go-to source for daily firearms-focused content, delivering fresh and engaging entertainment and information from some of the most respected experts in the firearms community.
In addition to its regular daily content, the website also provides visitors with The Armory Life Presents series of digital magazines. The newest addition to the family of digital magazines is our History of the 1911 issue, just recently released. The digital magazine features a deep-dive consideration of the story of the 1911, from its release more than a century ago, through its service during the 20th century and beyond.
The issue features pieces covering the history of the design as well as its role throughout the past century and more. These include articles on its role helping in the pursuit of Pancho Villa, when one shot down a Japanese Zero, its use in Vietnam in the hands of the “tunnel rats”, and more. As a result, this issue gives you the inside story of the most important combat handgun ever devised.
“Since its launch more than three years ago, The Armory Life has proven itself to be a terrific resource for topical and engaging firearms-oriented content,” says Mike Humphries, editor of The Armory Life. “And with these digital magazines, including this new 1911-themed issue just released, the website is giving its fans yet another source of exciting and entertaining content.”
The series is currently made up of eleven volumes, covering a variety of topics ranging from what is the best concealed carry pistol available today to a hunting-themed issue. Round that out with issues on the M1A rifle, the ever-popular 10mm round, this newest 1911-themed issue and many more, and you have a lot of great content.
“Be sure to check out this latest digital magazine and keep an eye out for more in the future on The Armory Life,” says Humphries. “In addition to the eleven issues currently available, we plan on continuing to expand the family of offerings to include issues on even more topics.”
